Co-create 2071, a two-day boot camp organized in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) on October 19 and 20, 2023, by Preneur Lab on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the USA and Bangladesh with the support of the US Embassy in Dhaka in association with the American Corner in Sylhet, SUST and SUST Press Club.

The Pro Vice Chancellor of the university Dr. Md. Kabir Hossain inaugurated the bootcamp. Mr. M. Ashraful Tanvir, Head of Operations at Preneur Lab, emphasized the importance of continued learning and friendship between the United States and Bangladesh in shaping the next 50 years. Mr. Mostafa Kamal the Director of American Corner in Sylhet also shared his remarks

The bootcamp featured a rich array of offerings, including expert sessions, panel discussions, a policy recommendation workshop, content creation for awareness, and engaging group activities. A total of 180 students from the university actively participated.

The first day of the boot camp was focused on Democratic Values. Mr. Pranab Kanti Deb, Assistant Professor of Sylhet International University conducted an engaging session about building resilience among the youth. It was followed by a session on promoting youth in practicing democratic values. A session was conducted to raise awareness through digital content by Mr. Nurun Nokib Anim the Content Creation Expert of Preneur Lab.

The second day of the bootcamp centered on the theme of Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Ms. Sharnalata Roy the President of Sylhet Women Chamber of Commerce engaged in an open discussion with the participants. Prof. Dr. Md. Monirul Islam. Prof. Dr. Nur Uddin Ahamad and Ms. Rakhshanda Rukham, Co-Founder of Preneur Lab shared their experience and guided the participants to start their entrepreneurial journey.

Organizers have expressed their intention to expand similar programs to other universities and mentioned that these workshops will provide opportunities for future policymakers, especially young people, to connect with experts and participate in meaningful discussions.
