From Preneur Lab we have taken a few initiatives to make a positive impact in the Bangladesh Elections 2018. Focuses were to create opportunities for young people to positively participate in the elections process, reduce violence and to support local media houses to develop the capacity of digital age elections coverage.

Our digital platform, www.Amar.Vote engaged more than 10 thousand young people and helped them to raise their voices and get elections information at their fingertips. A crowdsourced manifesto is developed by young people virtually with more than 270 points and 750 supports.

Peace Summit brought together economists, journalists, academicians and young people to talk and make action points for the elections. Facebook policy team directly participated and openly talked with editors and journalists to clear doubts and share a clear view of Facebook policies.

We will continue our efforts after the elections with a series of Facebook LIVE shows with newly elected MPs, youth leaders and young participants in our Peace Summit LIVE series.
