Top 5 Rising Startups Stole the floor of #StartKoro 3.0

#StartKoro, an incubator program for startup owners, has just finished its third year of motivating young entrepreneurs to found start-ups focused on ground breaking technologies and environmental issues.

 

The young entrepreneurs presented their tech-enabled business concepts to professionals during a gathering on Sunday at a Hotel Sarina. 12 teams were chosen for the final day of a two-day event where 30 startups presented their business ideas. Besides, three virtual sessions were arranged to groom the participants earlier.

 

The programme was jointly organized by Preneur Lab and Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Bangladesh for young entrepreneurs. The partners of the StartKoro Season 3 were Start-up Bangladesh Limited and EMK Center.

 

Venture Capitalist Shawkat Hossain, FNF Country  Representative Dr Najmul Hossain,  Programme Manager Omar Mostafiz, E-Cab Director Nasima Aktar Nisha, Startup Dhaka Founder Mustafizur Rahman Khan, SR Ventures Founder Sayma Rahman iDEA Project Senior Consultant Siddhartho Goshwami, Start-up Bangladesh Investment Manager Adnan Dewan, TeachIt founder Syed Naimul Hossain were presents to moderate and teach in different sessions.

 

Arif Nezami, the CEO of Preneur Lab, said that StartKoro gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to scale up their businesses, gain knowledge from regional and global mentors, take part in workshops, create products, and pitch to venture capitalists.

 

The contestants presented some really remarkable startup ideas. Leading start-ups that are taking part are Creatino, Farmnet Asia, Hospitalin, Inflexion Point Technologies, KrishiClinic, KriShop, MulloKoto, Peora, School360, Sikkhon, Todlo, and Urban Gaz. This year, the spotlight was on startups in the tech industry, green businesses, environmentalists, the female economy, etc. An easy-to-use online shopping experience for both consumers and creatives is promoted by a developing company named Creatino. Agribusiness Farmnet Asia connects farmers with investors and consumers. To make it easier for patients and doctors to communicate, a mobile app startup company named Hospitalin was founded. MulloKoto assists in locating the greatest offers by comparing the costs of desired products across all of the major Bangladeshi e-commerce sites.

 

The top 5 startups will receive support with business registration, trademark registration, legal assistance, growth support, and certificates.
